We take care of all your health needs at Crestwood Pharmacy. This includes keeping our customers up to date on the immunizations that we offer, providing our customers with the convenience of online prescription ordering and refills, and providing a variety of medical supplies and vitamins and supplements. At Crestwood Pharmacy, we utilize multiple wholesalers and suppliers to take full advantage of assurance of availability of pharmaceuticals and supplies. We will have want you need, and if we don’t, we can order it! Our customers’ health is our No. 1 priority.
WE PROVIDE A WELL-MANAGED PHARMACY
At Crestwood Pharmacy, we pride ourselves on using a well-established system for dispensing medication. We have the capability of providing unit dose dispensing by using blister card packaging or color cassettes. We have had great success with using both systems to aid our patients through several rehabilitation programs.
The cassette systems offer a tremendous advantage to our patients. For example, color coding helps to identify morning, afternoon, evening, as well as “PRN” (as needed) doses to our patients, thus preventing errors and improving compliance. We have seen this work for our patients enrolled in the mental health program who progress gradually through the system, from institution to community residence, through a supervised apartment program all the way to independent living.
Crestwood Pharmacy’s pharmacists and technicians utilize Drug Utilization Review (DUR) monitoring at the time of filling each and every prescription. We contact and interact with physicians on behalf of patients if need be. We offer patient counseling and education whenever necessary and upon request. We also offer educational seminars to seniors and residents.
We also provide and carry in stock medical supplies such as incontinence products, orthopedic braces, etc. to make it convenient for the patients. We can also provide vaccination clinics to administer influenza, pneumococcal, and ZOSTAVAX vaccines for our adults and seniors.
We are currently working on the requirements for staff members to be trained to become certified diabetes educators, and we have access to natural and herbal databases and related clinical trials.
