ABOUT CRESTWOOD PHARMACY 

Crestwood Pharmacy opened its doors in March of 2005. Jagat “Jay” Patel had the vision to bring back traditional values while merging that “old school” feel with modern technology. With this dream and desire to provide quality service, he dared to open a pharmacy from scratch. 

Jay considers Albany to be his home. He graduated from Colonie Central High School, studied at Hudson Valley Community College, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in biology from SUNY Albany. After working for several years, he decided to pursue a pharmacy career and graduated from Albany College of Pharmacy in 2004 with a Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.

As the owner of a small family business, Jay is dedicated and directly involved in the community and in the care of his customers.
